Disabled Access

There is a designated parking area for disabled visitors. Please make yourself known to us at the gate and we will direct you to the appropriate area. Horizon Mobility is a registered charity that provides access to shows and events for the disabled, elderly and mobility impaired through the short-term loan of electric scooters and manual wheelchairs.

They will join us to ensure that everyone has the wonderful weekend experience they deserve, with full access to all the amazing attractions we offer at the Inter-club International Weekend.

Mobility scooters and wheelchairs MUST be pre-booked. Only pre-booked equipment will be brought to the site. and will be located within the disabled car park, behind the main arena.

A 4mph mobility scooter with a carrying capacity of up to 137kg costs £110 plus either a £100 refundable insurance excess deposit or a £15 insurance excess waiver fee.

This would include use for the full weekend plus delivery and collection from the site.

Horizon Mobility also asks that hirers pay a refundable £25 return to base deposit to encourage people to return the scooter to the main pick up / drop off point.

Children & Young Adults Under 20

Children and young adults who are aged 0-20 will be admitted free to the event and also do not require camping tickets. Young adults aged 16 -20 may be asked for identification as proof of age.

Camping

There is a large area in the showground available for camping. All campers are expected to behave in a sensible and responsible manner and show due consideration for other campers and showground neighbours at all times, particularly with respect to night-time noise.

Please do not drive through the camping areas after 23:00. Security guards will be on duty throughout the night. They will enforce the site speed limit, and vehicle movement restrictions and take appropriate action in respect of unnecessary and unreasonable noise levels. Should any reasonable requests be ignored, then those responsible will be required to leave the showground, with Police assistance if necessary.

Camping is possible on Sunday night, but you must leave by 08.00 on Monday morning. Please note however that there will be no facilities, food etc. available on Sunday night.

Fire represents a real hazard to campsites, so tents should not be pitched close together for safety reasons. It is a health & safety requirement and condition of entry that tents should be spaced at least 3 metres apart. There is plenty of room.

Fire and Site Safety marshals will ensure the 3m space is maintained and will be available to provide advice if required. Please take care with barbecues etc which must only be lit in purpose-built equipment and clear of the ground—no open campfires. The use of fireworks and Chinese lanterns is strictly forbidden.

Car parking and driving

Please follow the signposts and the directions of the car park marshals.

There are mixed parking areas for exhibiting cars that are not allocated onto a club stand. Therefore, if you would like to park together in models, local regions or other social groups – please arrive together.

The site speed limit of 10 mph will be enforced throughout the site for everyone’s safety. Note too that the whole Showground area is a place to which some Road Traffic Laws apply, particularly those concerning the consumption of alcohol and driving. All drivers on site must also have a full driving license.

First Aid & Emergency

Emergency First Aid staff will be on-site 24 hours a day throughout the weekend. They will be in the First Aid post and can be contacted by telephoning the number in the programme or on-site information boards.

In the event of a medical emergency contact the First Aid post located on site. In the unlikely event of there being no response then call 999. In case of fire, telephone 999 immediately. Inform the Gate Staff as soon as possible.

Food and Drink

There will be several mobile catering vans on the site during the weekend as well as our marquee with a bar and live music within.

The last food orders on Friday and Saturday will be 9 pm. Catering vans will open in line with public entry times from 8 am daily.
