Bring and Buy Sale

 

Let your unwanted parts find a new home - raising money for the Royal British Legion

The Bring and Buy sales area will be located indoors within the Pavilion, opposite the Live Arena.

The event will feature a Bring & Buy stall for all the unwanted spares you have in your garage. We will operate like a shop, with a one-way system around the various trestle tables to terminate at a cash desk.  The procedure is simple: 

1.    You can sell as many items as you like.

2.    You complete one booking-in form per item.

3.    You take a booking-in form and fill in your name and mobile number, the identity of the part you wish to sell, and the price.

4.    Each form will have two raffle tickets stapled to it.  One is retained by the seller, and the other goes securely on the item to be sold.  The number is also written at the top of the form. 

5.    Once completed the form will be handed in and goes to the cash desk where it stays until your item is purchased. 

6. Entries are accepted throughout the weekend, pick up a form from the Bring and Buy stall. No need to pre-book.

FEE IS £1 PER ITEM PLUS THE FOLLOWING COMMISSIONS UPON SALE:

0 – £5 - Free 

£6 – £10 - £1

£11 – £20 - £2

£21 – £30 - £4

£31 – £40 - £5

£41 – £50 - £7

£51 – £80 - £10

£81 – £100 - £15

£101 and over - £20

FAQs

·      The reason for leaving your mobile number is in case a potential purchaser wants to make an offer on your item

·      All unsold items must be collected by 1 pm on Sunday otherwise they get skipped

·      All forms left at the cash desk will be destroyed after the event to avoid personal data being retained

·      The area allocated to the Bring & Buy shop will be carefully monitored by our team.

·      The event organisers cannot and will not be held responsible for any items in the event of theft or damage.

·      All proceeds go to the Royal British Legion.
